I had such a great time shooting Daire and Kris’ engagement photos up at the beautiful Desert Highlands Golf Club (where they are getting married this May!) It was such a fun chance to meet the two of them and to really get to know them! Daire is hillariously fun with his quick wit and Irish accent and Kris is a fun and down to earth golf pro! Score!

It was cloudy and moody the afternoon Daire and Kris were in town for their engagement session. We were a little worried it would rain but the rain held off thank goodness.

Ahh, that view! I can’t wait to get them up here with their wedding garb on. It’ll be so dreamy at sunset.

So serious, I love it. I always love when a bride can pull off a serious face and look very model like.

Daire proposed in a hot air balloon. How romantic is that? Kris said she was super nervous that the ring would get dropped though!

We were just about done and I saw this little spot and thought it looked sweet. I nearly fell off the mini cliff behind me. I guess that’s what I get for jumping into a planter. I’m probably a gardeners worst nightmare!

We were strolling around at the end of the shoot talking about where things were taking place, like the cocktail hour and I couldn’t help myself. I just love how comfy they look together in this little stairwell.

I’m not gonna lie, I really love these pictures. A few weeks ago I met up with Jill and Clint to shoot an engagement session while Jill was in town. We finally decided that the Phoenix Art Museum was the place to go and here are the results!
I think Clint is going to make me laugh more than I can stand at the wedding. He kept me on my toes with all of his self-assigned poses and Jill and I were in hysterics over a few of them!
Stay tuned for their upcoming wedding which is taking place at the swoon-worthy Boojum Tree in Phoenix. Oh and I can’t wait to see what Jill’s dress looks like, I have a feeling it’s going to be fashion-tastic.

I just got an email from Jill…
“WE LOOOOOOOOVE THEM!! THANKS SO MUCH, SEE YOU AT THE WEDD!!!!!!!!
JILL AND CLINT”
I’m so glad they love them as much as I do! Darby
Arizona might be dreadfully hot right now, but it does have one thing going for it, the sunsets. I’ve never been anywhere else in the world that has sunsets like ours. My husband claims it’s because of all the pollution, which is probably true. I don’t care though, they are fiery red and full of majesty.
If you ever get the chance to take out of town family members on an Arizona tour, I’d suggest taking them to the top of South Mountain. The view up there is unrivaled, you can see the whole valley. The best part if that you can drive all the way to the peak! I’m not much of a hiker, so I liked that the very best.
For Brandie and Paul’s engagement shoot we decided to do a little desert themed sunset session, and boy was it fun! These two were so easy to talk to and I loved spending the evening with them. I really can’t wait for their October wedding! They are hosting it at Villa Siena and I have an inkling it’s going to be simply divine!
