My sister convinced me to take a few quick photos for her birthday today. Happy birthday Andee! (and we snuck in her oldest son for a few too)

Jarom turned 12 last month and we couldn’t resist showing off how handsom he is!

It will always amaze me at how much more quickly time passes AFTER you’ve had a baby. The eight weeks leading up to Zoe’s birth were painfully slow an the eight following it have flown by. Part of that is probably due to the fact that I’m pretty sleep deprived.

Yes, I have three wonderful children and I love them all.

Yes, my little baby girl has arrived. She showed up last Tuesday and is a bundle of joy in our home.

I can’t believe we are adding a third baby to this brood soon. I’m always curious as to what my kids will look like and having a girl is really making me wonder! I hope she has a little hair for a cute bow!

Her big brothers are also pretty excited and now both acknowledge that they will be having a baby around. Job usually just pat’s his own tummy and says ‘Baby’ whereas Jonas tells me Zoe is resting.

In case you are wondering what my boys are going to be this year.

Jonas says he’s Superman and will take off his face mask just to ensure we know it’s really him under there. I took these just before a neighborhood party just to document the cuteness. More smashing photos to come soon!

I’ve had the fabric for these super hero capes since last year and finally convinced my mother to help me make them. Ok ok, I didn’t even ask last year, but I should have, they were so easy!

Jonas insisted my husband, Jonathan, join in the photo fun too.

It’s finally cooling down here in Arizona. Last night we turned on the lights in our big backyard tree and I let my little boys and two of their cousins loose back there. They were drawn to the tree like it was magic.

I’m cleaning house a little today. Backing up old pictures and I came across these. We took these back in January with my family. Family photos with my family is always fun (stressful). It goes something like this.

Darby pick a place where we can do family photos. (I have six siblings. Five of us are married with kids. When we took these photos there were 16 grandbabies.)

As you can guess I don’t make it in many. It’s ok, I love my family. Well this time I actually made it in a few, kind of. We got a quick snap of my husband and I with our two boys (the look so little in this now.)

A ten month old and an almost two year old don’t cooperate very well. You can see Jonathan practically pinning Job’s legs down.

And then I got this one of my parents with my two boys.

Since we have so many grandchildren, we thought it would be fun to have individuals and family shots with the grandparents. It’s something children with only a few cousins get to do and I wanted our kids to have the same kinds of photos!

Not mine! Our good friends and neighbors welcomed their new baby  yesterday. I was able to steal away for a few minutes to visit them and snap a couple of photos.
