Deborah and Mark | The Gallery
Scottsdale Photoshoot
Deborah, Mark and I had such a great relaxing time shooting their photographs. We were able to visit while we shot and had just a wonderful few hours together! I’m totally going to torture them by stretching the posting of these photos out, but it makes it more like Christmas this way!
Part one of the photoshoot took place in the Bentley Gallery where they were married. We decided to snap a few in the gallery before our trek and I have to say, it was fun!

I asked Bentley, the gallery owner about these chalkboard like paintings and she told me about the skill required to create such a realistic look. I never knew ‘chalkboard’ was such a tough skill! They were really sweet pictures though and I love that they came in a pair, perfect for this pair.

Deborah was laughing that she didn’t even get a bouquet (the wedding was an awesome elopement, so flowers were totally optional!)

I love how shiny the floor is in these.

Mark and Deborah say:
Anyone can see from viewing Darby’s site that she produces beautiful, unique, well-executed photographs. She can portray witty, loving, funny, or thoughtful with any subject. What you may not know is that the sample of art on her website is just that, a sampling. She produces great shots over and over again. When the time came for me to make my wedding album I could not choose less than 100 favorites! Darby was one of 3 attendees on my wedding day and her fun tricks like having us laugh hysterically out loud to produce our grinning couple photos to her unique location choices will forever make her the best decision I made for my wedding, besides choosing my groom. A year later, we were thrilled to hire her again for our first child’s newborn photos. Her soothing voice and the care she showed for my son will forever make Darby a staple in my family’s life for recording our milestones.
