Christina and Joe | Sedona Engagement
I met Joe and Christina for the first time at the beautiful Sassi Restaurant where they are getting married this fall. When they told me they wanted to do their engagements in Sedona, I jumped at the chance! Not only is it much cooler there at the end of May, but I always enjoy a little quiet time and there’s not many things quieter than a solitary car drive!

Joe and Christina really wanted to shoot the photos at a neat place in Sedona, Arizona called Talapaque. It’s kind of an outdoor artist shopping area. It was very fun and pretty busy since it was a holiday weekend!

I was seriously in danger of being run over by cars driven by anxious vacationers.

We were walking along, just enjoying the cooler weather and little shops when we came across this gem. I just loved the light coming through the cut out in the wall. We had people stopping to watch, trying to figure out how this was gonna work out!

Speaking of people watching this was another fun little spot where other tourists started copying our shots! It was really funny to hear them say, ‘Oh wow! Let’s try that.’

This dog must belong to one of the artists. He decided we were on his bench and plopped himself down right in front!

After we were done shooting here (and I was done shouting directions to them across the loud courtyard) some more tourists came along and copied out spot. We were really cracking up about it.
